Mr. James Glinski
Social Studies Department

James Glinski joined Xaverian in the 1976-1977 school year. Mr. Glinski graduated from Gardner High School before earning an undergraduate degree in history from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Mr. Glinski also has a Master's Degree in History from Northeastern University in Boston, as well as a Master's Degree in American Civilization and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from U-Mass-Boston. Mr. Glinski is a table leader at the AP US History Exam reading and workshop provider for the College Board's AP US History Program.  He has contributed a chapter on the role of the church in Boston's desegregation policy to a recently published book honoring BC historian Thomas O'Connor called Boston Histories. An excellent musician, Mr. Glinski recently released 3 full length CDs of new rock songs.
