DIRECTOR OF GUIDANCE

Thomas Gunnoud served as Director of Guidance from 1994-2004 and returned to the position in 2006 after two years working in Orlando, Florida at Bishop Moore Catholic High School.  He holds a Master of Arts degree in Theology from Maryknoll School of Theology in New York, a Master of Social Work degree from Howard University in Washington, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Education from Stonehill College in Easton, MA.  Mr. Gunnoud has taught and worked as a guidance counselor at Bishop McNamara High School in Forestville, MD and at Mackin Catholic High School in Washington, DC.  He has also worked as a psychiatric social worker at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington and at Cape Psych Center in Hyannis, MA and is currently an adjunct professor at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.  A licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW), Mr. Gunnoud is active in a number of professional groups on the south shore.
