Application Information

All students applying to Xaverian Brothers High School must complete  all three elements of the application process:

Take  Catholic Secondary School Entrance Exam
(STS High School Placement Test)

Complete Application for Admissions 

Complete  Transcript Record Form

1. Catholic Secondary School Entrance Exam

Students applying to any Catholic Secondary School in the Archdiocese of Boston are required to take the Catholic Secondary School Entrance Exam. The Archdiocese of Boston will be offering the Entrance Exam on Saturday, November 14, 2009 and Saturday, December 12, 2009. Students intending to take this exam at Xaverian Brothers High School must return a Test Registration Card with the test fee of $25 to Xaverian prior to the exam.

Students taking the exam at another high school must contact that school directly to register.  You can have your scores sent to Xaverian by making that indication at the time of the exam.  Students taking the  HSPT exam outside The Archdiocese of Boston must be sure to request the scores be manually sent to Xaverian Brothers High School. 

 - Xaverian will accept SSAT exam scores, however Students will not be considered for Merit Scholarship based on SSAT scores. It is the applicant's responsibility to send a copy of the SSAT score report. 

2.  Complete Application for Admissions Form

In addition to taking the Catholic Secondary School Entrance Exam students must complete the Application for Admissions Form. This form may be obtained by clicking on APPLICATION FOR ADMISSIONS or by contacting the school directly at (781) 326-6392. Completed Applications are to be returned to Xaverian Brothers High School NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31, 2009.  We recommend that you return the application in advance of that date in case of any questions.

3.  Complete Transcript Record Form

The transcript record form may be obtained by clicking on TRANSCRIPT RECORD FORM or by contacting the school directly at (781) 326-6392. This form is to be completed by the applicant¹s parent(s), then given to the applicant's Eighth Grade Teacher, Principal or Guidance Counselor. The school will complete then forward this form directly to Xaverian Brothers High School.  Completed Transcript Record Forms are to be returned to Xaverian Brothers High School NO LATER THAN DECEMBER 31, 2009  We recommend that you return the completed application in advance of that date, in case of any questions.
