Works with faculty, students and staff in the area of academic life at Xaverian. The committee helps with educational type programs such as an alumni career night, a shadow day program and student/alumni mentor week in the summer.
Fosters opportunities for alumni, parents, students and friends to network with other Xaverian leaders. Planning role in organizing, developing theme and recruiting speakers for the annual Boston Business Breakfast/Lunch. Also helping to promote it and get alumni to attend the event. The committee assists with the Xaverian “Linked In” website strategy and plans other programs to promote “networking” among Xaverian constituents.
This committee is responsible for recruiting and attracting alumni to the Alumni Association board and making recommendations for officers and committee chairs. The Committee shall consist of the President, the Vice-President, the Treasurer, the Immediate Past President, and the Headmaster of Xaverian Brothers High School.
This committee works to establish opportunities for alumni, parents and students to participate in Christian based community service projects in the greater Boston area and beyond. Assists in coordinating the annual alumni toy drive as part of the Alumni Christmas Social and the Camp Harborview Cleanup in the spring. Works closely with the Campus Ministry department including alumni participation in XLI (Xaverian Leadership Institute).
This committee assists the Advancement Office in bringing alumni back to social programs such as Family Day/Homecoming, Fine Arts Socials, Athletic Reunions and other social events. Help to plan Family Day/Homecoming; First Night Football; Hawk Trot; Alumni Christmas Party; 3-on-3 Tournament; Hockey Tournament; Lax Tournament; and Rugby Tournament.
