Alpine Ski write-up from 2/4 race

Xaverian returned to the slopes at Blue Hills on Thursday night to compete in its first Mass Bay East race of the year.  Three Giant Slalom races were held over the course of the evening with several Hawks turning in top 20 runs.  Connor Hagwood '22 and co-captain Tanner Smith '21 lead the Hawks in the first race with a 13th and 17th place finish respectively.  Nolan Mackie '22 cracked the top 20 with a 16th place finish in the second run.  Tanner Smith '21 once again finished in 17th.  The third and final race of the night saw three Hawks in the top 20.  Leading the way once again was Nolan Mackie '22 finishing in 13th.  For the third straight race, Tanner Smith '21 finished in a top 20 taking 14th place.  Patrick Keirnan '23 figured out the course for the third race finishing in 16th place.  The Hawks return to Blue Hills next Thursday night for a league Slalom race.
