New Hawks Hit the Ropes

Thomas Carroll
The class of 2020 got a head start on the academic year when they gathered for the first time at Hale Reservation for a lesson in leadership.

Organized by the Campus Ministry department, new students were lead in small groups by members of the senior class to complete a dynamic ropes courses rooted in the Xaverian Brothers charism of trust. Small group discussions lead by the upperclassmen centered on the importance of getting involved and the significances of volunteering through services such as X-ACT and Global Encounter.
