Each year, The Theodore James Ryken Award is given to an adult member of the Xaverian community during the Founder's Day Liturgy. This year's recipient is Alex Salachi, Library Director and English Teacher.
As part of the weeklong Fine Arts celebration, freshmen had the opportunity to have an "in-house field trip" to watch the fall play, The Man Who Came to Dinner. The play will be performed this weekend, on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 in the Xaverian theater.
Many people probably would not suspect that two of their classmates are actually junior firefighters in their hometown, but that is exactly the case with seniors Liam McMullen '14 and Billy Scherneck '14 both from Foxboro. Both students recently made headlines for their role in helping to extinguish the Blueberry Island brush fire.
