On January 8, Xaverian Brothers High School recognized 19 senior student athletes who have recently committed to pursuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. The College Commitment Ceremony included athletes representing Xaverian’s football, golf, soccer, swimming, baseball, lacrosse, and rugby programs.

During the ceremony, Xaverian Athletic Director Ted Currle commended the student athletes for their accomplishments. “The dedication, discipline, and perseverance across the many sports represented at the ceremony reflects the very best of what it means to be a Xaverian athlete,” he said. “Balancing the demands of academics, athletics, and personal growth is no small achievement, and each of these individuals has embraced that challenge with integrity and determination.” Mr. Currle also recognized the vital role their family and the community at large played throughout the journey. “Their success is a testament not only to their talent and work ethic, but also to the support of their families, coaches, teammates, and teachers who have helped guide them along the way.” He finished by thanking them for the example they have set for their peers by serving as leaders within the Xaverian community.
