FXD Sports Update 4-15-21

The FXD football team picked up another great win this past Saturday when they defeated St. John’s Prep 20-8. The team will look to complete the shortened season on Saturday at BC High at 9:15 a.m. BC High will be allowing two fans in for the game. Spectators may arrive a half hour before the game. If you cannot attend, the live stream of the event can be found here.

The winter track team suffered their first loss of the season when they fell to St. John’s Prep by a score of 63-31. The team is now 3-1 on the season and will complete their shortened season tomorrow when they travel to BC High for a 4:00 p.m. start. The coaches are really excited about the progress all of our FXD student athletes are making, and they really look forward to the spring season.

Spring sports will begin on April 26. If your son is not registered, he must send an email to me at ecurrle@xbhs.com in order to sign up for a spring sport. We currently have 137 FXD students signed up for either baseball, lacrosse, track and field, volleyball, rugby, ultimate, tennis, or wrestling. Please have your son let us know if he still wants to participate! Remember that he will need an updated physical on file with the nurse’s office and an updated concussion form turned into his coach. Specific information regarding practices and evaluations can be found on the Athletics resource board in the portal. We look forward to seeing our spring student athletes in action!
