Welcome to Xaverian!

We have five new talented faculty and staff members joining our community this year. Let’s meet them!

Jamie Faria - Social Studies
Mrs. Jamie Faria joined the Xaverian faculty in the 2023-2024 school year. She has a B.A. in history and social studies education from Boston University, and a master’s in curriculum and instruction from Boston College. Prior to Xaverian, she taught history at Mount Alvernia High School. Mrs. Faria’s fun fact is that she has traveled to 13 countries. Her favorite TV show is The Bear, and if she had the opportunity to meet one historical figure it would be Mary, Queen of Scots.

Brianna Larnard - Campus Ministry/Theology
Ms. Brianna Larnard joined the Xaverian community in the 2023-2024 school year as our newest campus minister. She has a B.A. from the College of Holy Cross, and prior to Xaverian she served as a Catholic missionary in Peru for two years. Ms. Larnard is excited to begin meeting students, and to be a part of the strong, supportive community that is Xaverian. Fun fact about Ms. Larnard—she  is a record holder for the women's swim team at Holy Cross. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano, guitar, and singing, and loves to explore new places in nature.

Lisa Osborne, P ’23 - World Language
Mrs. Lisa Osborne, P ’23 joined the faculty in the 2023-2024 school year. She has a B.A. in romance languages and secondary education from Boston College, and a master’s in Spanish from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to Xaverian, she taught French and Spanish at Walpole High School. Mrs. Osborne’s favorite TV show is The Parisian Agency, and if she could meet any historical figure she would want to meet Julia Child.

Bradford O’Brien - Science
Mr. Bradford O’Brien joined the Xaverian faculty in the 2023-2024 school year. He has a B.A. in biology from McDaniel College, and a master’s in critical and creative thinking from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Prior to Xaverian, Mr. O’Brien taught high school in the Boston area, as well as in China and South Korea. In his down time, Mr. O’Brien likes to play disc golf, and his favorite book series is Game of Thrones

Casey Driscoll ’18 - Ryken Fellow
Mr. Casey Driscoll ’18 joined the Xaverian staff as a Ryken Fellow in the 2023-2024 school year. He has a B.A. in communications from Villanova University. Prior to Xaverian, Casey served for a year with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Baltimore, MD. He is looking forward to his return to Xaverian. “I had great personal relationships with my teachers when I was a student at Xaverian,” he says, “and as a staff member, I hope to develop similar relationships with current students, and make a lasting impact.”
