Congratulations to the Speech and Debate team on their strong showing at the Gracia Burkill Speech Tournament this past Saturday at Natick High School! In one of the largest tournaments of the 2023-2024 season, Xaverian placed in the Children’s Literature Finals and secured several bids for the Massachusetts State Finals!

Speech and Debate Vice Captain Joseph Martucci ’24 took fifth place in Children’s Literature, while he, Landon Duhamel ’25, Aryan Sharma ’27, Rishabh Tole ’25, Ishwar Ravi ’24, Krish Dhingra ’25, and Jonathan Lyder ’25 each earned bids to move on to state finals. Congratulations to these members and to the entire Speech and Debate team for their strong showing. Their next competition will take place on December 9 at Lincoln-Sudbury.
