Quarter 1 - Brother Raymond Hoyt, C.F.X. ’70 Award Recipients

Congratulations to the 53 students who were honored with Brother Raymond Hoyt, C.F.X. ’70 Awards in Quarter 1.

The Brother Raymond Hoyt Awards were created in memory of Brother Raymond Hoyt, C.F.X. ’70 who passed away in the fall of 2017 after a battle with ALS. Brother Ray was a teacher and administrator at Xaverian for 26 years. In order to keep his legacy alive and flourishing within the Xaverian community, we acknowledge select students with an award in his honor each quarter. The award recipients demonstrate humility, kindness, work ethic, generosity, discipleship, or respect. Students are nominated by the faculty and staff of the Xaverian community, nominees are reviewed by the administration, and winners are honored with a certificate during their class assemblies.

Xaverian would like to congratulate the 53 students who were honored with 64 Brother Raymond Hoyt, C.F.X. ’70 Awards during the 2023-2024 first quarter honor roll assemblies. This is the largest group of Brother Ray Awards the Xaverian community has awarded in a single quarter. We are proud of our Hawks who have continued to demonstrate kindness, generosity, humility, and compassion. As stated in The Fundamental Principles of the Brothers of St. Francis Xavier, these individuals serve as “unique expressions of God’s love” in our community. Congratulations, Hawks.
