Hawk Robotics–The Ryken Force are State Champions!

Congratulations to The Ryken Force!

Congratulations to Xaverian's robotics team, Hawk Robotics–The Ryken Force, on winning the Massachusetts FIRST FTC State Robotics Championship on March 9.

The team had a great day propelled by fantastic tele-op game play and an endgame that was outstanding! In the opening round-robin matches, the team finished undefeated against a field of 32 of the state’s best teams. Combining the undefeated record with overall points, The Ryken Force went to the playoff rounds as the second overall seed.

As captain of the second alliance, The Ryken Force again went undefeated, winning each of the best of three semi-final and final rounds 2-0. They earned the title of Massachusetts State Tournament Champions and qualified as one of four teams representing the Commonwealth at the FIRST FTC World Championship tournament in Houston, TX!

Way to go, Hawks! Good luck in Texas!
