Senior Brunch and Parent Reception

Thursday, May 11, was an exciting day for seniors and their parents. It was the last day of school, the Senior Brunch, and the Senior Parents Reception.

After reporting for graduation practice in their college t-shirts and sweatshirts, the Class of 2017 was honored with a brunch by Mr. Chuck Carmone '85, P '16, Director of Alumni and Special Events. In addition to the meal, each student was given a gift of Xaverian "swag" - a cell phone card holder. After a rousing cheer and encouragment by Mr. Jim Lewis, the senior class pledged $12,320 to the Fund for Xaverian, in honor of Brother Raymond Hoyt C.F.X., ’70.

That evening, senior parents joined Headmaster, Brother Daniel Skala, C.F.X., for a complimentary reception and celebration. Members of the Alumni Parents' Council invited all present to join the organization and continue to be involved in the Xaverian community, even after the graduation of their sons. Parents were given a Xaverian picture frame, as a keepsake and a token of gratitude. Additionally, Brother Dan was presented with a check for $92,800 as the senior parent gift to Xaverian.

Thank you to the Class of 2017 and their parents!
