Hawks Enjoying New Home
Thanks to the generosity of Dianne Wright and the Gunning family, the Xaverian varsity hockey team is enjoying a brand new home this season.
A customized locker room was built and dedicated to the memory of Michael Gunning ’91 and Thomas Gunning P ’18, ’20 at the Canton Ice House.
“Our program and our team feels extremely humbled, grateful and very fortunate for their generosity,” said Head Coach Dave Spinale. Senior co-captain Henry Bruckner agreed, adding “Knowing the room is dedicated to the Gunnings makes it even more special. Every time we go into that room we know it has a deeper meaning, more than just a locker room.”
